Like the best inventions are born out of necessity so did the art stone molds and dome templates. Anjela realised that ideal shaped natural stones were nearly impossible to acquire or even if accessible ideally shouldn’t be taken from nature.

So came about the perfectly shaped art stone molds with their center dot built in, making them ideal for mandala dotting. Now perfect stones are accessible for all!

Anjela lives in Brisbane, Australia with her husband Mark. She raised three daughters and has two stepsons, and maintains a close relationship with her parents, who live nearby and are now in their 80s.

Anjela is a proud Anaesthetic Nurse by trade and continues to work casually in the role. Beyond her love of dot mandala art, her current interests include keeping fit — particularly running, cycling, and pickleball — as well as exploring hydroponics.

Past and occasional hobbies include patchwork quilting, mosaics, and stained glass art. Anjela considers herself a lifelong hobby collector — there never seem to be enough hours in the day to learn and try everything that sparks her interest.

A creative thinker through and through, Anjela has worked hard to grow her business, while also recognising that a little luck and a great deal of support have played an important role in building the high-quality product range at Happy Dotting Company.

She remains deeply grateful for the support of her family and the dot mandala art community, who have allowed her to pursue her passion and share it with others.
